OmniMedix was developed by an experienced street medic, featuring a user-friendly design that enables rapid medication infusion rate calculations, eliminating the hassle of navigating multiple menus.
In a field where agency protocols and medications evolve continuously, OmniMedix stands out as the sole calculator based on infusion rates rather than specific medications. This adaptability allows its application across diverse clinical settings, including EMS, Emergency Department, ICU, medical offices, and veterinary medicine.
Supplementary features include conversions for weight and temperature, pediatric calculations, medication bolus determinations, and the Parkland Burn Formula for fluid resuscitation.
While hospital units typically rely on IV pumps for drip rate management, many EMS crews lack this technology.
